I visited and then contacted several potential clients within a 10-mile radius — and I had my first contract within 30 days of arriving in San Diego.
The Marketing Campaign: Create a series of seasonal 30"-by-48" posters to adorn the walls of two fruiterias — located in Spring Valley and Casa de Oro, Calif. Because both businesses often have lines because only one person (the owners of each) are taking orders, the wall posters will serve two purposes: Showcase the aspirational value of the unique food preparations. Help customers to make up their mind quickly. Guide customers to try new featured items The Photography: I met with the owners on several occasions to photograph images (Lightbox) to showcase the reality of the services — and to avoid waste. The Design: The posters were created in InDesign and promoted easy-to-read ingredients to help eliminate questions that sometimes tend to slow the ordering process. |
